DAVID and DELILAH

A Lovestory that will melt your heart

And a story at that. It started overseas in Neuschwanstein Castle in the summer of 69. That's 1869 by the way.....David and Delilah is their name and they met in a ball given by the king and have since then continued their story of love for all to see. Here they both are seated in a magnificent setting on top of an exquisite base. Standing 6 1/2"H x 9 1/2"W x 6 3/4", let me first describe the lady. Delilah is seated in her dress of alternating green and white. The beautiful flower pattern that you see on the front of her dress is the same in color as her top and shoes. She is very demure and prefers the quiet evenings spending her time singing and reading. And as shown here...she is singing a piece that compliments the tune played by David.

And David? He looks magnificent, doesn't he? His black shoes matches the top of his pants and the bow on the back of his head. His jacket is the same stimulating color of pinkish red as Delilah's. He's quite the gentleman sitting her playing the wooden flute in accompaniment with her beautiful voice.

Let me describe a little bit about the setting. The table only stands about 2 3/4" high and if you'll notice...the back of the chairs and the table legs have the same graceful patterns as the base of the figurine. Golden set against white it looks very nice on the marble floor. Truly they look very well together and would make the prefect gift for a newly wed to show that a "Love Story".....HAS no end!

She bears the "Original Germany" dresden mark that has a seven point crown which is designated as the markone.jpg.
